SIG SAUER Mosquito
Given the high cost of ammo, many of us are turning to .22's to keep our shooting skills sharp. I really want to like the SIG Mosquito (mainly because I've liked other SIG's I've shot). But, after handling the gun and looking at it side by side with some Rugers, it just didn't seem to have the "fit and finish" I expected. I passed on the SIG Mosquito and went with a Ruger Mark III, a gun that has been a great performer.
If you are like me you really rely on the comments of other shooters when determining if you should lay down some hard earned money on a pistol. There just seemed to be enough people that had jamming issues with the SIG Mosquito, that I decided to go another direction. I did find some information that stated the gun was reworked in 2008 and many of the initial issues people were experiencing had been corrected.
Regardless, I'd like to share some info on the SIG SAUER Misquito. And hey... it comes in pink, too.
